Design table setting!
A few weekends ago we put together a table design for an event at the Sheraton in Portsmouth. For our table we wanted to do something funky, modern, and spring-inspired. A huge thanks to Hilary from Eat Cake! for the awesome centerpiece, and Kim from Ambrosia Gardens for our stunning chrysanthemums! All professional photos are the work of Douglas Mahar Photography.
Be Our Guest supplied the Pea Green Bengaline Linen, Matte Black Plates, funky glassware, and cubed flatware. The vases? Those were all glass that were spray painted (thanks Ambrosia Gardens!) matte black and filled with button mums.
Here’s a close up of the DELICIOUS centerpiece cake. It’s all hand-piped and the inverse of our napkins. The frosting on top was a perfect match to our table’s colors. And Eat Cake! had the perfect stand for our table! And how cute is the doggy table number, complete with a button pom collar!

How amazing are the spider mums on each setting! Our escort cards rested lightly right in the flower. All calligraphy and design were done in house for all paper on the table. The funky napkins are actually a fabric we hunted for in order to get JUST what we wanted. Resting against the really cool glassware is a donation card.

Here’s another far away shot of the table, this time with the “Bride” sign in it. There was a matching groom sign as well, all coordinating with the escort cards.

Thanks to everyone involved! We had a fantastic time talking with couples and their families, connecting with amazing vendors, and, at the end of the show, eating really delicious oreo cake!!
Additionally, if you’re interested in any calligraphy services, please get in touch! We’re offering a spring time special until April 15th!
